Spode Saucer, c.1830 and Gold Reflect Teacup
This is a classic and beautiful example of the Japanese influence on the English Potteries throughout the 19th Century. Three leaning oak boughs fill the three outer frames, all encapsulating a crane surrounded by bright florals, decorated in at least eight colours, this would have been incredibly difficult to execute. The fine decoration in the well of the saucer is still completely intact – so there is a chance that this saucer has never been used.
Each teacup and saucer set comes with a gift card detailing the history of the antique saucer.
